POSITION: Emerald Curl as a variety is adaptable to most well drained soils; it also tolerates short periods of dry. This very adaptable small tree can be planted in full sun or shaded areas and requires little maintenance. It is best to initially feed with a slow release low phosphorus fertilizer to help establish when first planted. Mulching around the base of the plant will help retain moisture and suppress weeds.

CARE: The natural lush curling foliage of this small tree is a great asset in creating a cool environment; it is an excellent choice to use for large landscapes and small gardens.
